A Table of Contents is a list of the different topics in the books and the pages they can be found on. A table of contents is found at the beginning of a book. They are helpful to readers because they show the reader which pages to go to to find the information they need to find, or to read about a topic that is interesting to them.
A Glossary is a list of important words related to the topic and their meanings. The words in the glossary are often new words. A glossary is usually found at the back of the book. A glossary helps readers because they can check the meaning of new words as they reader so that they can better understand the main topic.
